AFIS SA is a Non-Profit Company with the purpose of collecting, processing, and recycling batteries, thus contributing to the Circular Economy, Sustainability and Sustainable Development. Its income comes exclusively & only from the contributions of its members, and the most important part is invested in informing, raising awareness, educating, and awakening the citizens.
In the context of informing, raising awareness, educating and motivating citizens, AFIS will be present with a 50 sq.m. stand. at the Attica Green Expo, the country’s largest Eco Meet that will take place at the Tae Kwon Do stadium (Closed Faliro) from May 24 to 27. The AFIS team will welcome Companies, Educational Institutions, Public Entities and Organizations to its stand so that they can be informed about the great project it is implementing as the only Alternative Management System for Portable Batteries in the country. It will also educate and raise awareness about battery recycling among schoolchildren from many municipalities of Attica who will attend the eight theatrical performances “Mr. Batt and the Robots”. Also, young and old will have the opportunity to take photos with our hero Mr. Batt, as well as enjoy games in the “Play and Have Fun” area of the exhibition.
