On 7/29, a new collaboration between AFIS and Kotsovolos began, with the aim to promote battery recycling and the revitalization of Greek forests.
AFIS will plant a tree for every battery recycling bin filled in Kotsovolos stores. A tree can absorb from 10 to 40 kg of carbon dioxide per year. In addition, trees provide shelter for fauna and protection against fires and floods.
This collaboration is part of the Kotsovolos REACT program and is supported by TreeApp, which undertakes the planning and execution of the tree planting.
