To launch the campaign, we organised a battery recycling awareness event &#8211; \u0394-disco Party, in December, attended by company members and partners, as well as personalities of the artistic and journalistic scene of Athens, to remind us that there is no excuse not to recycle batteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"\u0391\u03a6\u0397\u03a3 \u0394\u03b9\u03ba\u03b1\u03b9\u03bf\u03bb\u03bf\u03b3\u03af\u03b5\u03c2: \u039c\u03b5 \u03b1\u03c0\u03ae\u03b3\u03b1\u03b3\u03b1\u03bd \u03bf\u03b9 \u03b5\u03be\u03c9\u03b3\u03ae\u03b9\u03bd\u03bf\u03b9\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" data-cookieconsent=\"statistics, marketing\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9fvOvIVBG_8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><div class=\"cookieconsent-optout-statistics cookieconsent-optout-marketing\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign was inspired by the research we carried out in the spring of last year, where we found that the most significant percentage of people who do not recycle batteries or do not recycle often give various excuses, one of which is that there is no AFIS bin near them. With that in mind, we decided that the message we will focus on in our next campaign will be about excuses, as we give them the solution, with references to the 70,000 AFIS collection points and our electronic maps at&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/afis.gr\/en\/where-to-find-afis-bins\/#main-content-afis\">https:\/\/afis.gr\/en\/where-to-find-afis-bins<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"859\" height=\"483\" src=\"https:\/\/afis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1313\" srcset=\"https:\/\/afis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-1.png 859w, https:\/\/afis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-1-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/afis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-1-768x432.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 859px) 100vw, 859px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our first ad cites alien abduction as an excuse, as only something so unreal, strange, and bizarre would have to happen for someone not to recycle batteries. Filming took place in September 2023, and the campaign&#8217;s launch was marked by unique radio announcements, buses dressed in excuses, posters on trains, podcast mentions, cinema ads, and the space disco party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"975\" height=\"548\" src=\"https:\/\/afis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/afis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-2.png 975w, https:\/\/afis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-2-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/afis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-2-768x432.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 975px) 100vw, 975px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The D-isco party took place at Cinderella in Kolonaki on December 17 to raise public awareness and promote our new campaign.
